Ellmaker Dee photographed the lookbook for the brand’s launch collection throughout Rwanda and New York City. Cesta baskets are woven with care by female artisans in Rwanda, Africa, using locally sourced renewable resources. Each piece is hand finished in New York City with close attention to detail. Cesta’s designs are a celebration of traditional Rwandan weaving techniques interpreted through a modern lens.
